Introduction
Introduction
Welcome to Shape Theory, a game that combines strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a touch of mystery. In this game, your mission is to unveil the hidden shape concealed beneath a layer of dark sand. This guide will walk you through the steps to becoming a skilled player.
Understanding the Game Mechanics
Unveiling the Mystery
At the heart of Shape Theory is a hidden shape, obscured under a layer of dark sand.
Your challenge is to identify this shape from among a five options.
But you're not entirely in the dark! You have the power to reveal small portions of the hidden form to guide your guess.
Just click on the dark sand to reveal part of it, you will make a digg.
You just have to click on the dark sand, you have 3 chances.
You also have three dots at your disposal at the beginning of each level.
Each dot allows you to reveal a small portion of the hidden shape, giving you a hint towards its identity.
for example: 2 Filled filled dot, mustly white, means you still have 2 diggs to make, to reveal whats behind the dark sand.
Use these dots wiselyβthey could make the difference between a correct guess and losing a clover.
The score depends on the number of diggs you make: the less diggs you make the highest score reward you will get when you guess correctly.
Of course, if you feel it, you don't have to digg.
Making a Guess
Once you think you've identified the hidden shape, it's time to make your guess.
Click on one of the five options at the bottom of the screen to lock in your guess.
Choose wiselyβincorrect guesses cost you a chance, symbolized by a four-leaf clover.
Life Lines: Clovers and Dots
In Shape Theory, you start each level with three four-leaf cloversβeach one represents a life or chance to make a wrong guess.
If you exhaust all three clovers with incorrect guesses, it's Game Over.
If you guess at any time, you move to next level and Diggs and Chances reset to intial values.
If you guess first time, you get most score points.
Game Progression
Successfully identifying the hidden shape allows you to move to the next level.
Each new level resets your number of clovers and dots, giving you a fresh start to uncover a new mystery.
Score calculation
You get additional point to you score only when you progress.
If game over you will not get any additional point from your latest puzzle.
Each time you progress you get 100 + Bonus points.

Navigating Increasing Difficulty
As your journey continues in Shape Theory, you'll notice that the game's difficulty level gradually rises, adding an additional layer of excitement and challenge.
This escalation happens in two main ways.
Firstly, the radius of the circle part that reveals the hidden shape diminishes as your score goes up.
This means that with each successful guess, you'll have a smaller view of the hidden shape, requiring you to make more precise decisions on where to dig next.
The second increase in difficulty comes with the rotation of the hidden shape.
As your score increases, the hidden shapes start to rotate more drastically.
This rotation can turn familiar shapes into something unrecognizable at first glance, which adds to the challenge and intrigue of the game.
These increasing difficulty levels require you to continuously adapt your strategy and approach.
You'll need to make every reveal count and to analyze the shape options even more carefully.
The rotating shapes add an extra dimension of challenge to your visual puzzle-solving skills.
It might be tougher, but it also makes every correct guess even more satisfying.
Remember, mastering Shape Theory is a combination of strategic reveals, careful observation, and adaptability in the face of increasing challenges.
Keep these in mind, and enjoy the thrill of the escalating challenge!
How to Win : A Strategy
In Shape Theory, it's all about clever decision-making and strategic reveals.Β
The game's challenge lies not only in identifying the hidden shape but in doing so with as few reveals as possible.
Here's our strategy advice for you to maximize your success.
Start by examining the given shape options carefully before making any reveals.
By doing this, you can determine which parts of the shapes are unique or distinct - these are the areas that could help you differentiate one shape from another.
Think of these distinctive features as clues to look for when you start digging.
Next, decide the best places to reveal the hidden shape.
Try to reveal sections that contain these unique features you've identified earlier.
This way, you're maximizing the amount of information gained from each reveal, getting a bigger picture of what the shape could be.
Remember, the goal is to correctly guess the hidden shape on the first try, so every piece of information counts.
Every reveal should contribute to your understanding of the shape.
While the challenge increases as you progress, this strategic approach can greatly improve your chances of guessing correctly on the first attempt, maximizing your score, and truly mastering the Shape Theory game. Good luck and happy shape hunting!
